2023 Annual Member Dinner and Meeting
The LBCA Annual Member Dinner was a blast! The event was held at Camp High Harbour with a Retro Beach Theme. The turnout was our largest ever, with close to 400 members in attendance. These photos capture the fun and excitement of the evening. Members enjoyed delicious food, dancing to music, and socializing with friends. We would like to thank Paula Jones and Andrea Sorgeloos, co-chairs of the event, and their team that put the event together. Their hard work and dedication made it a night to remember! Please enjoy these photo memories of the evening! Special thanks to Melissa and Gary Elzey for the fantastic photo booth images! Thank you to Melissa Elzey and Cassidy Gruber for the event photos.

Lake Burton Ski Patriots 2023
The Lake Burton Ski Patriots show is a truly unforgettable experience. If you want to celebrate our nation's independence in style, mark your calendars for this amazing event. They ski the Sunday of the July 4th weekend, beginning in Magness Cove and then around most of the lake. This group of volunteers decked out in red, white and blue is sure to raise your patriotic spirit! Special thanks to LBCA Member Melissa Elizey for these wonderful images!

2023 Fireworks
The Lake Burton Fireworks Show is a beloved annual tradition in the North Georgia Mountains. The show is held on the Saturday night of the 4th of July weekend and is easily one of the state's largest and most impressive fireworks displays. The fireworks are launched from Billy Goat Island and can be seen all over the lake. Boaters and landlubbers gather to enjoy the show, which features a dazzling array of colors and shapes. The fireworks echo throughout the surrounding mountains, and boat horns and whistles fill the air as people celebrate our nation's independence. The Lake Burton Fireworks Show is a magical experience and a must-see for anyone who loves fireworks. The show is 100% community funded, so your donation helps to make it possible. Special thanks to LBCA Member Melissa Elzey for these amazing images!

The Burton Bash was originally scheduled to celebrate Lake Burton's Centennial in 2019. Due to Covid, it was postponed to October 2020. Happy 101st, Lake Burton! It was a fun evening of good food (LaPrades old family style), great music, and fellowship for LBCA members. Many thanks to the Burton Bash committee for all their hard work. The Art Auction highlighted various lake artists who donated their work. All the proceeds benefit Rabun County nonprofits.
