Join us for the 6th Annual LBCA Wooden Boat Parade and Show on Sunday, May 25! The boats leave from Timpson Cove around 11 am, led by the Fire Boat, and will arrive at LaPrade's Marina around noon. From noon to 2 pm, you can view the boats at the marina.

From 10 am to noon, at the LaPrades Pavilion, we offer our members a unique opportunity. Representatives of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will conduct a boating and water safety meeting. This is your rare chance to meet the DNR officers who patrol the lake, hear from them about their experiences, and ask them questions. We value your safety, and this meeting is a testament to that.
This meeting is of utmost importance for all members. It is the first time LBCA has offered such a meeting, and it's a direct response to the high number of tickets handed out last year. The DNR suggested we offer it to help offset these incidents. Your active participation and education are the keys to lowering these incidents and making our community safer.
