Event Description
The Riverkeepers will be coming to Lake Burton to train those interested in becoming certified to monitor Lake Burton water quality on Sunday, August 25, from noon until 4:30 pm.
Last year, 14 LBCA members became certified and gathered data, which was shared with the Riverkeepers, giving them further data points on the quality of the lake waters.

- Volunteers are tasked with conducting tests once a month from April through October.
- Testing supplies are provided by LBCA and the Riverkeepers.

- At the home of Mike and Lee Dunn, 4740 Murray Cove Rd, near the public boat ramp.
- Lunch will be provided.
- Please try to carpool or boat pool and come dressed comfortably as part of the class will be on the dock where we will demonstrate how to use the testing materials.
